Wildcat Fans,The Wildcats opened up in their first full 5,000m race of the year yesterday. They were led by Junior Joey Khamis in a time of 16:59. On the varsity side, the Cats captured 10th place as a team. The JV team finished 5th, and were led by a break-out performance by Sophomore Adam Noens. Other outstanding performances were put up by fellow Sophomore Kent Gauen and Freshman Ian Mitchel.
The squad will return to action on Tuesday at Sahm Park where the JV team will duel the Red Devils of Pike High School. The Varsity team will race again next Saturday at the Ben Davis Invite.
