Wildcat Fans,The 'Cats are back. Led by a breakout day from Sophomores Robel Teklezghi (16:34) and Aaron Bowers (16:36) the Wildcats finished 3rd at the 20 team Ben Davis Invite. Robel's time bumps Indiana State University Harrier Zach Miller off the all-time Sophomore list for 10th best in school history. Of the 35 that toed the line yesterday, 27 posted Season's Best / Personal Best 5k's. En route to their third place finish, the Cat's enacted revenge against an up-coming Avon XC team that soundly beat them in Lafayette a week earlier.
The Wildcats will be in action twice this week with the Freshman season starting with a duel meet against the Frosh of WC. Then on Saturday the full squad will go up against Central Indiana's best at the Flashrock Invitational at Northview Christian Church.
It's still early , but this is shaping up to be another exciting campaign for the Wildcats!
