WILDCATS QUALIFY FOR STATE MEET!

Wildcat Fans,

The 'CATS finished runners-up at the Carmel Semi-State this Saturday and qualified for the state finals for the 8th time in school history.  They were led by the impressive third and fourth place finishes for Junior Ethan Hoeft and Senior Jake Hanawalt.  Hoeft's time of 15:41 is a :03 second improvement over his personal best and moves him up to #6 All-Time in LNXC history.  Hanawalt's mark of 15:42 was also a PR and puts him tied for #7 in program history.  The Wildcats posted a team time of 80:26 which is the third fastest team time in school history.

The Wildcats have been third at the state meet twice in school history (2000 and 2010) and will be racing to become the first team in school history to finish either as champions or runners-up.  They will toe the line next Saturday, November 2nd, in Terre Haute.  For more information about the IHSAA State Finals please visit www.ihsaa.org.

GO CATS!
